Venue - How to reach the Paris Garden

The event will be held at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, situated in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The hospital is one of Europe's largest and historically the birthplace of modern neurology, today home to the Paris Brain Institute (ICM). The campus is well connected to the rest of Paris by public transport and is easy to reach from the city center.
The exact venue will be announced soon!
Coming by TRAIN
Paris is exceptionally well connected by train. The hospital is a short walk from Gare d'Austerlitz, served by RER C, Gare de Lyon and several regional lines. From other major Parisian stations (Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est, Gare Saint-Lazare and Gare Montparnasse), you can reach the hospital easily by metro or RER. We highly recommend train travel in accordance with the philosophy behind a multi-hub event.
- www.eurostar.com (for international connections via London, Brussels, Amsterdam)
Coming by BUS/Metro
The hospital is served by several bus lines directly on Boulevard de l'Hôpital. Night buses also serve the area.
The nearest metro station is Saint-Marcel (line 5), a 3-minute walk from the hospital. Lines 6 and 10 also stop nearby (Chevaleret and Gare d'Austerlitz). RER C stops at Gare d'Austerlitz, a 10-minute walk away.
For routes and schedules, check the RATP network:
Coming by CAR
The hospital is located at 47 Boulevard de l'Hôpital, 75013 Paris, easily accessible via the périphérique (ring road). Note that parking in central Paris is limited and can be expensive. We recommend public transport whenever possible.
Coming by PLANE
Paris is served by three airports (but please favor more ecological transports if possible!):
- Charles de Gaulle (CDG) — ~25 km north of Paris (~30–45 min by RER B to central Paris). The main international hub, with connections worldwide.
- Orly (ORY) — ~13 km south of Paris (~25–30 min by metro line 14 or OrlyVal + RER B). Closest to the hospital.
- Beauvais-Tillé (BVA) — ~85 km north of Paris (~1h30 by shuttle bus). This airport is very far from the city and is used mainly by budget airlines (Ryanair, Wizz Air). Factor in significant extra travel time and cost if flying via Beauvais.

Accommodation
We recommend staying in the 13th, 5th, or 6th arrondissement, all within easy reach of the venue by metro or on foot. Paris is a popular destination — we strongly recommend booking as early as possible.
For accommodation options near the hospital, you can browse:
- Booking.com — search "Pitié-Salpêtrière" or "13ème arrondissement"
